Lemnos

The numerous beaches of Lemnos offer the opportunity to choose between peace and cosmopolitan atmosphere, between sand and pebble.

We recommend the following beaches:

THANOS

Cosmopolitan and bustling beach, beach bars, beach volley, umbrellas, sunbeds, taverns and cafés.

CHAVOULI

A golden sand, sheltered from winds and waves. Here grows the lily of the sea, one of the endangered species of flora of Lemnos. Relaxed atmosphere and perfect for families.

KEROS

In front of coastal dunes stretches the cosmopolitan beach of Keros, one of the largest of Lemnos. The very strong winds make it ideal for windsurfing.

GOMATI

One of the nicest beaches on Lemnos. It is a natural continuation of the dune landscape.

PLATY

Located near the town of Myrina. It is a large beach with umbrellas, sunbeds, water sports and beach bars, where you can enjoy breath-taking sunsets.

KOKKINA - FAKOS

The red rocks make this beach a special place. The access is not very easy (4.5 km dirt road from Diapori), but the results are worth the hassle.

PARTHENOMYTOS

A large sandy beach with turquoise waters accessible only by dirt road. Those who dare will enjoy a quiet setting and lovely waters.

PIGADELI TIS PANAGIAS

Near Faraklo geological monument, nature has created a large bay with brownish red sand typical coming from the islands volcanic rocks.This is a desert beach of an outstanding natural beauty.
