Traditional settlements
Throughout Lemnos, one encounters typical villages, examples of the traditional architecture.
Do not miss:
- Kondia, the stone manors of seafarers, the impressive stone windmills, the church of Agios Ioannis with Byzantine icons and the church of Agios Dimitrios, which is the oldest in the village.
- Moudros, the largest and safest natural harbour in the Mediterranean with its beautiful traditional houses with tiled roofs.
- Varos, with countless stone houses that illustrate the art and artistry of the old masters of Lemnos.
